I heard that they are trying to move daylight savings time after halloween next year. if thats the case it will just start getting dark by the end of ToTreating! they say they want to keep the streets safe in a Lighted Atmosphere!!! whats next?

Argh, it's just so depressing. I waited 'til dusk this year to turn on our display, which was around 5ish, next year it'll be after 7 - grrrrrrrrr....... Haven't they heard, nightmares only happen at night?!

I am soooo bummed about this. It won't be dark here until about half way through.

I was watching this year knowing the time change would move from the last weekend in Oct to the first weekend in Nov for 07. I live in Souther California and it got dark at 6:15 the Sat we changed the clocks. I don't see that as too late. What time do kids in your areas start ToTing? I am more worried that next year the 31st is on a Wed. This year we had a down turn in Toters, I think it was becasue it was a Tues - school night. Can't wait till 08 when it will be a Friday

Until THIS year we hadn't even gotten stuck with your stupid "daylight savings" bullsh!t, now we're going to loose out even more halloween next year. Thanks.

Changing your plans from 5pm to 7pm? Nah, daylight savings is only a 1-hour adjustment. If you started up all your lights at 5pm, then it'll be 6pm that it's that dark now. Yes, it sucks, but it's only a one hour shift from what we're used to.

Our neighborhood didn't really get hopping until 7pm. It had already gotten dark around 6:15, so I think next year, it'll be fine.

Our neighborhood dehind get going untill after dark as well. But we have street lights also. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
