Apologies to those of you who have already seen these on hauntforum:

    http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...een/Haunt2006/

This was my first year of having the haunt in the side and back yard, to keep the scary stuff away from the toddlers. The scarecrow and the sign were to direct people to the appropriate place; they could not believe I was letting folks go to the back yard. Next year I may make the cues even more obvious, with cemetery fence, gates, arch ('enter here"), et cetera.

I have a lot to learn yet, but it was a big improvement, if only because it's dark back there, unlike the front which is lit by two street lights. Biggest tech change was lighting the tombstones for the first time.

More room for props next year! Muahahahahahah!

Dang it, Long_Tom, now you've given me more ideas for next year with the static ghost.
Great display. Loved the signs, too. And might I add that yours is the best hack of the flying line ghost I've seen.

    Wow, I love that ghost.

My poor little ghost got draped at the last minute because I discovered that she no longer glowed. ARGH!

Everything looks great. Next year will be even better I am sure!

You did an awesome Job Long_Tom. We did our Haunt in our backyard, and like you we a friendly entrence in the garage, then if you wanted to view the scary, you simply went all the way throught the garage to the backyard. Awesome ideas!
