What a great haunt! And very nice photos! I still need to work on getting better night time shots.

    Thanks everybody!

As I think many of us feel, I spent most of Halloween evening feeling both pleased by people's reactions and somewhat let-down because of all the things I wanted to do but didn't have the time to. Still, a good time seemed to be had by everyone who showed up and it was a fullfilling evening!

MsMeeple- most of my shots are 4 to 6 second exposure times with the digital on its manual setting. It takes a bit longer and a tripod is a must of course but I'm happy with the results. I was also glad to have the moon make an appearance for some of my shots! By the way- all your food at your party looked awesome but I *still* love the meatloaf man best!

Ms. Wicked- I can't help it... I naturally look like that!

AWFC- I almost didn't do the crypt thingie but my mom convinced me at the last minute that I should and she'd help. Many ToTs and their parents kept calling the FCG a 'hologram' and wondering how it was done. I am surprised though at how much I did accomplish while still caring full time for my 7 month old baby. And she LOVED the haunt BTW!

I really like the green-lit pumpkins. That is a very striking effect. Good work!

Yeah its not a party without the deadman meatloaf lol I did play around with the camera a bit this year. Setting the iso to 400 didn't help much. But setting the exp com (whatever that is lol) to minus 1,5 seemed to give me better shots. But yeah, time time time....we set everything up at the last minute and take everything down the same night and next day. And during the party, I'm too busy with other things. I'm really glad we took things down right away this year because we had a whooper of a storm hit a couple of days after the party. Perhaps you saw it on the news. Dutch horses stranded on an island due the the storm and flooding? The finally rescued them yesterday.
