We moved into a new neighborhood this year and oh boy what a great place it is. There were 4 other houses all decorated and plenty of ToTs.
My haunt this year was a walkthrough.
You entered into a very dimly lit hallway with floating pictures and candles above your head. The walls were lined at the base with candles, decapitated heads and rats. Hidden behind the entrance was an actor zombie who followed guests through the hallway making sure they went the right direction.
At the end of the hall was the entrance to the graveyard. Featured at the center of the graveyard was my favorite corpse screaming in agony as she burned (thanks to my yule log DVD and projector, slightly out of focus of course) Hidden through out the ground were miscellaneous skulls, rats, bats, ravens, spiders etc. The big scare came when guests were busy looking closely at how "cool" it was, then BAM I came out and got my treat for all the hard work I put in. lol
Here is a video of a walkthough in day light, inside the hallway it gets pretty dark but the end of the video shows some good shots of the graveyard and me setting the angle as I "hide" the camera to capture guests getting "tricked" as my treat. Luckily I remembered to put the camera on nightvision.
take care all...

Hey, I saw in your walk through you had the 6' Gemmy Bride. Can you perhaps capture a video of her for me? I Really want her and I have the smaller hanging version, but i really want the big one. So Could you please do that? I really would like to see her in action. Thanks alot! Great Haunt, you did a fine job. The vids of the people getting spooked was hilarious!

Well unfortunately everything got packed up as usual as soon as we closed down so I will not be able to make a video for you. My garage is huge and all the big boxes are in the hardest to get to spots.
Isn't it amazing that it only takes a couple of hours to break down 30 hours of work...so sad.

Looks great! Did you have any problems with people stepping or kicking the candles at the base of the walls?

We used battery operated candles from Target and double stick taped them to the floor. They really added a nice touch, and best yet is we can reuse them for Christmas decorating too.
Most people stayed single file and not one candle was kicked or moved out of place.
