Hi everybody,
I am sorry to hear of so many problems with y'alls haunts. I think it is a shame that people act like that.
I became ill several days prior to Halloween and couldn't do anything but carve my pumpinks early. My dog woke me up at 3:30 am, and I never went back to sleep.
I started decorating my garage early but I had to rest about every 30 minutes because I felt so bad. It was cold, damp and windy, and I was afraid I would get even sicker. However, I managed to get just about everything out in time. I had to skip a couple of things but it didn't seem to matter.
Discovered my ghost didn't glow any longer so I had to redrape her. I wasn't counting on that. Dropped my strobe...yep, it quit working. 2 of my cds started skipping for some reason.
The 2 Gemmy props worked far better than I imagined they would. They kept going of willy-nilly, I thought, until I realized the traffic was setting them off. They never failed to trigger when the TOTs arrived. The best $60 I ever spent.
I had compliments from every parent and even some kids and teenagers.. One parent said, "How fun. Thank you for doing this." Ran out of candy. I felt so bad that I shut down at 8:30. I passed out on the couch sitting up.
Here is a photo that will give a general idea. It is much darker than the set-up, which had a lot of visual impact. A couple things do not even show up in the photo. My digital just doesn't do well if there isn't enough light. I forgot to take a flash photo. I will post a photobucket link tomorrow.
I want to thank everybody on the forum for helping me out.

I'm sorry you didn't feel well. But it sounds like you had a great time anyway!
Rest up now - there's only 364 days to plan for Halloween next year!
