Well I've just finished with my '06 haunt pics, time for the report.

Starting near the beginning of October, I chucked this out for early advertisement.

Then most of this stuff happened within 2 days of halloween.

Part of the yard looked empty, so I threw a BL-ucky out and kicked leaves over it

And I had an FCG up and flying, but the pics didn't really come out well. My cell took a better one than my real camera.

My brand new 2 month old Fitco 1,000 watt fogger wouldn't fog, so I spent a lot of time rebuilding it's diaphragm pump. It works, but it's not producing like it should. Gotta buy a new pump for it, and probably one for my 700 watt fogger too.

We had 35-40 TOTs. For some reason there were several groups that just walked past us? Didn't give up as much candy as I expected. Everybody really seemed to appriceate the haunt. Had a couple guys who acted like they thought they were "too old" to TOT, but didn't have any trouble with them; they just checked out the props, got some candy, and stood in the street by my Web and ate candy while checking out stuff in the yard.

Good year, turnout was lower than I hoped though. Still better than the year we had 4 TOTs. Kinda slow night, but it was kinda cold, and a Tuesday.

That spider looks really cool on the side of the web. Your pumpkins look great too.

I'm really suprised how well everyone has liked that skull and flamed pumpkin. The TOTs, the TOT parents, the people on a micro rc board who had a "show your JOL" thread, and now you guys! I'm really amazed that a pattern out of a cheap clone of a Pumpkin Master book got that many great comments. (instead of the pattern dotted lines and a stabby-tool, the pages had punch-outs and a pen)

Well I figured a Fitco 1000w fogger might be better than my PartyTime 700w fogger. It definately fogged MUCH better, that one time I got to use it at full capacity. And now i've just got to buy new pumps if I can't get those rebuilt close enough to OEM flow.

The spider web ended up being about 275 feet of 3/16" nylon braided rope. As it got near the center the turns had to be individually lock tied with contractors twine to maintain the web look. I had been kinda worried about the spider not looking "real enough" but once near the web, I think it looks pretty good.

Congradulations Ugly Joe! You're the first person to find and point out the easter-egg!!! While I was wiping out the street names, I saw the license plate on the van and figured since it had to go too, I might as well make it interesting... If I had some kind of prize, you would be getting it!
