Yep...it's done here, already. We had all of one TOT -- same as last year, different person. Almost said kid, but this TOT was about 18...cute little blonde.

How about the rest of you? How was it?

It was good, but very sad to say it's over now, and it's only 8:30! But we did have about 10 or so more than usual, for a grand total of approx. 25 TOTs. It's a lot of older people in out subdivision, but I'm thrilled to say that about half of those who came actually drove over just to see my place! And I actually had 2 little kids who made their dad bring them over to my place, but were too scared to come up the laneway- I'd say that counts as a success!

I'm really having Halloween withdrawl now!

We had about 50 TOTs. It was a great evening. Ours was on Sunday night, but still have all the pumpkins lit tonite. Alot of kids came to our house cuz of all the decorations. Sad to see it over though.

Hey, I had 12. That's four times more than last year. Of course, a lot of cars stopped at the road to look at the display, but didn't drive in. Or weren't sure where to go, though the house is lit up.
My son brought his girlfriend's two kids over. The two year old just wanted to play with the dog, so he stayed in while the 3 year old went down to see the monsters. He got a little scared, so I guess it was a success.

4 total tonight. Didn't expect many more than that. We live in a new subdivision way out of town.

I just turned off the sound and will leave the lights on for a little longer, but that's probably that. Will bring it all in ASAP. I like for it to be gone by the morning school bus.

Sad to see it over too :-( Didn't Halloween used to last way longer? It was a ghost town here by 8:30. All said, I had a little over 50 kids..banner year!! Got some really heart warming compliments from the kids too. One little guy said "I can't believe people actually LIVE here...I would be too scared!" Made every crappy thing that happened (fog machine dying, projector fell over in the wind and died, ghost falling out of the tree etc etc) okay.

Still kinda going on here...disappointed a few kids due to my lack of decor this year...that is O.K. because Halloween '07 starts.......NOW!

50 or so TOT's! Props construction for next year has already started! I got the ultimate compliment tonight. A 35 yr old man wouldn't come to the top of the driveway after seeing me twitch and he ran away. Really gave me a reputation as the Halloween Nut around here. The new fog machine was a hit with kids, adds a tremendous amount to my atmosphere.

25 kids, five more than last year. 2 were from a vehicle that stopped for our house only.

Things finished up here about 7:30 or so, according to our neighbors it was absolutely dead this year wich probably had a lot to do with the fact that it's a school night and the weather sucked. Still we had about 50 or so kids and I notices a few that passed by but would not venture into the Pirate Cove. Had a blast torturing the kids. You absolutely have to say "Trick Or Treat" at our place or I just stare at you menacingly or ask things like "Have you served faithfully as a hand before the mast" before you get your share of the treasure. It was also fun to point out the treats for the adults by saying "It do be grog... a mixture of rum and juices, you know, to prevent the scurvy. Lots of folks young and old were blown away by the treasure chest and although we have been hampered by inclement weather and a touch of the flu in the days leading up to tonight which didn't allow us to get all of our stuff out I would still judge it a success. Got quite a few compliments on the decorations. (to which we responded "what decorations?" of course) Also I've had a bit too much grog meself so methinks I'll shove off now. Happy Halloween!
