Ours finally let up this evening. I was able to set up the tombstones and other props that I took down friday night. Amazingly the columns never fell over. I guess my hubby was right when he said they were too heavy to blow over.

Yesterday was great until 4:30. Then the wind started in at about 40 MPH. It will continue to blow until FRIDAY! This is not fair for the TOTs! It didn't do my haunt any good. I have things down all over the yard. And to make matter worse the temps went from the mids 60s yesterday to may be 30 for the kids tonight.

So we missed the good weather by 24 hours. My number will be donw a lot tonight.

Florida has been pretty windy for the past week also.

I didn't even bother fixing up my ghosts because I knew they would get the ectoplasm kicked out of them by the wind if they went out anyway.

Luckily I think im done with it. I got hit hard over the weekend(see other thread) and was able to re-build most last night. Except for the head on the scarecrow(again was removed from a strong gust today).
Luickly the forcast for rest of today is 60 with a small passing drizzle.
Hope it lets up for ya all as well.

So much for my webbing in the yard. Grrrrrrrrrrr.. yes it's cooler now than it has been for the last few days, but I swear the Santa Ana's will just not stop!

It would have just been easier to stand at one end of the yard and let the wind take the webs where they wanted them to go.. Ugh.

Well I could deal with the wind, rain on the other hand sucks. It is coming down a flood and it shows no sign of letting up! All that hard work is going to waste.
Why am I so sympathetic to the monsters. The answer is simple. Because I am one!

35 mph winds here in eastern North Dakota My neighbor across the street & 5 houses down called last night to report a wayward tombstone of ours (I managed to find the other 3), grim reaper in 2 pieces, webs, spider victim & spider in shambles. So there will be pretty much nothing out tonight for the ToT tonight since the winds are supposed to stay strong. DANG IT!!!!
