I am so mad , it rained all week now since last night it started to have wind gusts as well so one of my witches broke in half , 3 tombstones got damaged , 2 of my lighted trees fell down now their top wont light up , even the heads on my cemetery colums gave way , my murder of crows on the roof well whats left of it , all the open wing crows got damaged.......

and to know why i am so mad at weather beside the obvious , i made the newspaper front page , i didnt even know she would put me color front page , and spent half a age inside of picture and article , i was thrilled , i got people coming yesterday and calling to come today because of that article , but the weather is so crappy most of the animatronic stuff cant get rained on , so half my stuff isnt out and working....

ok thanks for letting me vent , now it is snowing and raining same time here with the winds , i just want the wind to at least stop .....

next year if health permits me to do another good year , i am doing a diffrent theme , and i am doing my living room instead of alot of stuff outside....

I reside in Canada as well and I just take the weather as it comes. It's funny as i was typing this snow starting to come down pretty hard now 15 mins later its sunny again, LOL

I think the 31st in Canada will be really cold but there will be minimal rain this year if any at all.

I just have that feeling, I have not participated in Halloween all that much over the years but I kinda had a urge to this year for some reason, I guess due to in part that my DJ'n/production company is holding 2 halloween jams this year.

I will give candy out until 9 ish but i even doubt kids will be out that late, in this day and age they out until 8 30 max.

I remember rain or shine as kids we would be out until 11pm greedy for that candy, lol

The weather here in PA is not much better. The wind is killing me. I can't even put up the walls outside because of the gusts. I'm up the creek without a paddle until it calms down. Running out of time.

Yesterday in western Pennsylvania was absolutely miserable. Extremely high winds, freezing cold rain.

I went out last night (Sat.). See my costume in the "Costume" section, Shark Attack. I was wearing shorts and sandals. My toes were numb walking from bar to bar.

Right now were are getting hit with wind gusts of upto 90 Km/hr (around 55 Mph).

I'm really glad I made the decision to hold off putting out my stuff until the morning of the 31st.

Weather reports say that the wind should die down by then, and we should have around 13 C (or around 55 F) with a chance of light rain. Not bad if the wind does die down. I would rather have some light rain than these winds. (fingers crossed)

i see alot of you are frustrated with weather , this year is the worse i saw so far...i didnt mind a small snow fall 2 years ago thats ago it meatled away ...last year 2 weeks before halloween or so we got a day of high winds that got 4 of our mature trees down so you can imagine the cemetery ....but we managed to repair the tombstones.....

and to top it off today we might get a chance that all that rain changes to snow so that would be 10 cm to 15 cm of snow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats quebec for ya.....all my poor feathered crows , or whats left of them

so halloweeniacs everywhere suffering from bad weather , i sympathise with you all , next year i decided to store away all the witches props and do the dracula'S manor theme again , my poor witches got hurt bad this year ....can you belive with all that crappy weather , we are stil thinking of next year LOL ...

    I hear Ya!!

I had great visions of an early display this year but the weather has largely been crap all month, so most of my stuff will only be out Halloween day(as usual)

Have to think hard about truly bombproof stuff for next year so I can get a decent early display. Hopefully Halloween night will be reasonable, though they are calling for showers here.

Nice to hear from you fellow Canucks !!
