Alright....
So i'm going to be a demon this halloween. I've decided to go all out with a four prothsetics (nose, chin, horns, ear tips) and a bald cap. These are all hollow latez pieces. I was wondering if people fill the hollow cavities with cotton balls or something to make things easier....i can imagine trying to but makeup on a hollow latex peice.
Also, i bought a cheap latex bald cap. If I place it on my head lightly stretched, there's still an 1 or 2 gap till my hairline. I assume i'll need pros aid to glue this thing down that stretched (especially with a sweaty area like a forehead). Any other advice? Any problem with gluing horns on the bald cap?
Of course, over all of this i'm going to be some sufficiently redish color cream makeup w/ castor oil added for the latex stuff. Then very light stipling with some black and things....
Then set it all with powder.
Sound good??

I suggest using a woochie bald cap, the novelty caps are not made for stretching and gluing. They usually tear easily and are basically a swimming cap.
Fill them with some cotton and glue on with the pros aid. Spirit gum will work, but for hallow items, heat and sweat will build up, separating your bond. After gluing, seal your edges with multiple thin layers of liquid latex.
For the paint, out of experience, I would not use cream makeup. The kind that comes in the pallettes works best.
Hope that helps, If you have any more questions, feel free to post em.
