Does anyone else here have this prop, the skeleton rises and goes back down into a chest. If so I was wondering if yours get caught on the metal rod that rises and lowers the skeleton? if so have you figured out a way to correct it. We just put ours together tonight and it keeps getting caught when it goes back down, Would appreciate and assistance, need simple solutions as I am not as handy as some of you all with prop building mine are very primitive.

Is it the one that is around 18" high, and the top half of the coffin slides downwards and a head goes up and screams? If yes, I saw alot of them being returned due to that same problem. On some of them, the door wouldn't go back up after the scream.
If you are at all mechanically inclined, take it apart and see if the rod has popped out of a conection or rod guide. That's the only thjing I can think of.
