Thread: Helpful Halloween Friends

I know many of us feel like we're all alone in our obsession with Halloween, except for our online community. I've been having a fantastic time planning and building and would do it all anyhow, but it's been great having a partner in crime the last two weeks. A friend offered to build a pirate ship for me after hearing my excited prattle about Halloween all summer and it is AMAZING, totally exceeded my expectations. (Check out pictures on my blog.)
Anyone else have good friends helping out this season?

Just so happens my high school buddy of about 25 years shares this obsession with me. We have infected our wives , children and a few friends along the way.

Yes, I have to say that I have two friends from work that have helped me out! One donated two props for my haunt, and another is loaning me his electric chair. I am loaning him my car bumper prop to return the favor. (I'm not doing a display on the 31st so i can TOT with my kids) Gotta love friends like that!

My husband is very supportive - always looking for things that I would like, and he made my crystal ball! I also have a friend who has done everything she can to help out with the party. She just spent eight hours today helping me set up! I don't know what I'd do without them.

I'm just glad to see that there are other fans of The Crimson Pirate out there! Keep up the good work.

It looks great! We too have a partner in crime. He is an electronics nerd and made our lightning box for us last year. Living in the netherlands, its hard to find those type of things and if you try to buy from the US, many of the parts don't meet international standards. I tried to order the scary terry board for the talking skulls but they don't meet international standards. So our friend will help us build one from scratch next year.
