Will it change your plans drastically?
For me, it means that many of my props will not make an appearance and I will rely more on outdoor sound and lighting effects. TOT's won't want to take time to linger and admire anything in the rain anyway...so not a HUGE deal...just very disappointing. Right now, the weatherman says theirs a chance of rain...but it's way too soon to make any decisions.
How does your haunt change with the weather?

I'd have to scale way back as well. Figure over half of my stuff wouldn't be used. Much depends on the severity of the rain too. A light drizzle isn't a problem, steady showers...that's a problem. Hey..it's the one thing we can't control so just have to live with what we get.

There is supposed to be a terrible storm tommorrow by me.
I took in all my stones, spiders, devil, blowups, and wrapped all my porwer cord ends in plastic wrap. I put my headless guilitine dummy in my toepincher, shut the lid and wrapped the thing in a car tarp, then raised the thing on some cinder blocks. My floods are staked in good and my light strings are hooked on good. I hope nothing gets damaged.

I guess I'd try to hold an indoor haunt. But if it rains, who would come out in that anyways???

lets just hope for the best, the weather channel site updates every hour or so anyway, it was supposed to rain five times today for me, but it was perfect.

In a large shed, wind or rain doesn't bother.

I'll assume some diehard kids will be out no matter what and be there to hand out candy. It's been raining all day, so it's been a good test of my setup. There's a short in one of my light strings that kept kicking off the ground fault breaker so it's disconnected now, will check into it tomorrow. I guess there would be no sense in turning on the fogger. Make sure the porch steps are clear of wet slippery leaves. Have a few old towels on hand, extra plastic bags for soggy treat bags, box of trash bags to turn into ponchos. Whoever shows will definitely get loads of candy.

Those die-hard fans of the holiday totally vanish the second November rears it's head, I know, 20 years owning my haunted house.
I have strove to convince the masses that celebrating the fun of Halloween can happen all year long, since i'm open almost every night of the entire year.
The weather in November makes or breaks the number of people showing up here.
Rain? I close one door and open another one short-circuiting the backyard portion of the tour down to just a few quick steps in the rain, then into the back of a hearse and up the coffin hallway they go!"My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"
