I am off to scare the Sh*t out of some people! Wish me luck, it's been a long difficult week getting ready. I am worried about rain, so wish it away please!
I'll take plenty of pics and vids!
Later people! Robert

Thanks Haunty!
We were a huge success! I was too busy to get any pics though! I will definately get some tomorrow! Tonight I was getting my feel for dealing with the teens! I had to make some adjustments to discourage them from screwing things up, like roping off the theater seats and being present in the room to keep thier behavior under control. I was having too much fun getting in on the scaring as well! Man, all the hard work is worth it! The screams and laughter are so satisfying!
We're having the toddlers' haunt in the morning. We won't be activating any props, just let them check it all out with the lights up and monstermash type of music playing. Thier were people taking some little ones through tonight, however. Needless to say, the chicken door was used quite a bit, or they were cryimg histerically by the end!
I had a prop donated to me that fell apart at the end of the night, so, I'll have to fix that, everything else held up well. Knocking on wood!
We did have problems with a light rain, but tomorrow is supposed to be nice.
Well, I will definately get some footage tomorrow, I shouldn't be as nervous then, and will actually pick up my camera! Happy Haunting!

Well, the haunt has ended and it was a huge success!
Friday night we only ran from 7 to 8:45, due to rain. Still had 182 ticket sales.
Saturday morning we had the toddler friendly haunt. We let all the kids come through and kept the lights up, played kid friendly tunes, and each volunteer let the kids activate the props thenselves if they liked. This is something I always did if I saw a scared TOT in my yard haunts past. The kids loved it !
It gave them a kind of behind the scenes look at the haunt. We sold 80 tickets for this, the parents were allowed through free, which motivated alot of them to come back for the scary haunt. Each volunteer also gave out candy at each prop. It was fun!
Saturday night we ran from 7 to about 9:20. Haven't gotten a ticket count yet, but was much more than friday night. I am thinking we surpassed 500 for all 3 events. This was only open to our community, so not a bad turn out!
We all had a blast! I think I will be asked to return next year, and I will gladly do it! I had too much fun to stop and take pictures! I was really too busy! I did try to get video of some people, but it didn't turn out. You could hear the screams real well though!
The props are all put away and I am ready to go TOT with my family on the 31st! Something I haven't done in probably 10 years! Happy Halloween!!!!

I thought I would take pics this year, but not only was I busy, I was having too much fun! I was in costume, and just did not want to leave my post to follow people tp take pictures. I did follow the teens that looked like trouble!
I will have to recruit a dedicated photographer next year. Come to think of it, some people took pitures, if I get some I will post them!
Yes the blood was sweeter than I could've imagined!!! I will press the director to let me invite the public.
