Aside from the cheesy name, I'm rather proud of this photo album.
I photograph my jack o' lanterns every year, just to keep my artistic senses sharp and not redundant. Later this winter I hope to have them posted online, and I'll post the link here. In the meantime, I thought I'd mention it since carving days are upon us in this last week of October.
One year I thought "Hey, why not classic Jacks?"
So, with a pause button and paper, I began dedicating a pumpkin a year to a legendary face. The trickiest part is find a pumpkin with a shape similar to the one I have in mind. Here's what I've done thus far...
The Jack from the back Charlie Brown's head (the closeup shot when first drawn).
The Jack from the Opening sequence of the first "Halloween".
The Jack thrown toward the viewer in Disney's animated "Legend of Sleepy Hollow".
The One-eyed Jack from the Addams Family feature film.
One day I hope to have all four of the falling fencetop Jacks from the opening scene of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" as well as Skellington's own Jack head, which is very similar to the scarecrow Jack from "Sleepy Hollow", the Burton film.
Can you think of any others?

Whynotgrl, as I said above, I'll try to post pics of these online later this winter.
TuzlaRuja, maybe I'm not understanding your request. I don't do famous faces, I do famous Jacks. Did Barnabas Collins have a Jack o' lantern in an episode of Dark Shadows? I don't recall that, but I'd be glad to see it and give it a try if he did.
I'm asking if anyone else can think of some famous jack o' lanterns.

Hi Spats,
Sorry that I misunderstood. No Jacks in Dark Shadows, just "that portrait in the hall," haha!- "We have done the impossible, and that makes us mighty."

No biggie, Tuzla, I just sat here stunned for a moment when I read your post thinking..."Barnabas had a jack o' lantern once? How did I miss that? Too cool!"
Once I realized the misunderstanding, that there was no Dark Shadows Jack, I pictured Barnabas beating Willie with his cane over... and over... and over.
