Hello all, I just found this forum earlier this month. I have been doing a yard display for a few years now. I used to set it all up the night before, then tear it down the next day. But, my display has expanded, and now I'm engaged (luckily my soon to be wife is understanding ;>) So I've put it together slowly since the first of October.
I wanted to share and get some constructive criticism from you guys on my haunt for this year. I've got most of my stuff out, but of course there will be a few surprises come beggars night.

Thanx guys!!!
Yeah, the web is pretty huge. It is 25' x 25'. I made it from about 700 feet of clothes line string I bought at Walmart. Only took me about 3 hours to design, build and put in place. Instead of tying each string together in a knot, I used zip ties. Worked like a charm.
The three tombstones in the front of the graveyard were bought, but the others including the tilted ones I made from MDF, and spray painted with that Stone spray paint. Came out pretty well, but that spray paint is too expensive.
You can't see it in the pictures ( I think I forgot to turn it on) but I have a scary faces video on VHS that I bought a few years ago. Using the same technique that "Big Scream" uses with the piece of plexiglass, the faces in the upstairs window look really spooky, and almost 3-D just floating there.
For the TOT's I'll bring out a few more surprises. I have a 6 foot Grim Reaper with bleeding chest that will be a prop. A 6 foot dracula that will be a prop. Then I will bring out the coffin stading up opened, with a skeleton. I'm gonna throw a red flood on that. But the main attraction will be in my garage. White sheets covering the walls, with black lights and strobes. I am currently in the process of building the table that my victim patient will be lying on. I'm going to make it look like we have chopped off his lower half of his body, all bloody and what not. I'll be wearing the Zombie Doctor costume and my girl will be my sexy, deadly nurse. I have also built a fog chiller for this year, but it's gonna be so darn cold outside I'm not sure how well it's going to work.

This is the scene I had playing out in my garage this year. I had the candy sitting on the edge of the bed near the garage door. My sister in plain clothes was out near the street for the kids too scared to come up :>)
