I remember looking at someone's site who had 'eyes' in the windows. I remember thinking that it was cool but I wasn't planning anything like that with my windows so I didn't save the site.

Since I'm not going to cover up the outside windows in our hard rot cafe, I thought it might be fun to put eyes in the windows.

Does anyone else remember that site or know of another site with eyes in the windows?

    Thanks,
    MsM

you can buy scene setters for this although I thought they were pricey ($17 USD, I think). I'm looking to do the same thing for my upstairs windows and am going to use black material (I have some polar fleece laying around and cut out the "eye" part and tape a translucent yellow piece of plastic to the back and backlight it. I found my yellow plastic at the office supply store in the form of a folder in the clearance rack. I'll take pics and let you know how it's working out.

A friend of mine has done this for a few years. (Not being that computer literate, I will attempt to explain.) He took an old computer (Mac?) and hooked up two really old monitors, which split the image of two eyes across the two monitors. He put one in eacch of his upstairs windows and they moved, blinked, etc. He has a Victorian style house and it was the only decoration - very effective. I hope he is doing it again.

Thanks, I'm curious to see how they come out.

No, what I saw wasn't on a dvd or done with computers....although the computer thing sounds really cool.

    Thanks anyway,

I bought some WOWindow Posters from Factory Card Outlet Party Store that are huge cat eyes. The package shows their website as www.WOWindows.com. You could see if they have anything you're looking for.

If it's not the ones that IowaChick76 posted, try this:
    Eyes in the Bushes.
I also remember someone doing eyes under their staircase, but I am unable to find the link for that. I'm pretty sure it was at hauntforum, but maybe I am mistaken. I'll keep looking.

I think they used the LEDs inserted in the backs of ping-pong ball eyes like I make every year. If I remember right they were mounted between the boards of the boarded up window.
