I've been searching movies.com, fandango and individual theaters and I can't find when/where it will be shown. I would guess it would come here since it is a really big market (Seattle). I hope so!

is it only playing today the 20th or is that the start time. there's about 6 theaters in the 20 mile area around me. one about 3 miles away from my house. i know me and the wife would LOVE to see it in 3d.

I'm wondering what the reasoning was behind such a limited release? The nearest theatre to me is 4 hours away. This is my favorite movie of all time and I can't see it. How frustrating.

The 3D process is only available in digital projection theaters. That's why so few theaters can show it. As far as I know it will play for awhile, at least through Nov to get the max audience out of it for all the holidays (Halloween-Christmas). I know I plan on driving down to Orlando to see it at Disney's Pleasure Island theater. I saw 'Chicken Little' in 3D there and though the film was so-so the 3D kicked butt- the best I've seen. George Lucas plans on using this same 3D process to re-re-re-release some of the Star Wars films in 3D soon.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks Greencapt! Where can you look to see which theaters have it? I can only seem to search by my zipcode and it tells me there are none in my area. I'd be willing to travel a few hours and maybe make a weekend trip out of it...
