Wow, I could have typed the same thing. The wife and I both have huge plans about organizing, and end up with unorganized organizers. I have a closet full of daybooks, planners, etc... with about 2 pages used. Life always gets in the way of big plans.

Yes, for the past 5 years, I have kept a notebook of ideas, plans sketches, pictures from previous years, idea pictures, pages out of magazines. If it has anything to do with Halloween, you name it, I have it!

yep, I started last year. a big part of mine is food, I'll write & then RATE the recipe on how good it is, how hard it was, what would make it easier. I kind of prioritize the prop ideas, but I've been doing good so far this year with it.

I don't have an idea "book", per say, but I do have a folder on my hard drive for all of my Halloween stuff. Lists, pictures, photoshop work, etc. I really should back all of that up somewhere......

I have tried, but like most other organizational projects... I quit shortly thereafter.

Lady Nyxie,
You mean to get organized. Yeah right!?!
I actually have a Halloween folder that I started in 1995 where I put pictures, emails, instructions and other tid bits in as the year goes on. Then I open it up about NOW and think I wont have enough time to do everything that I have in the folder. So the folder just keeps getting bigger.
But it does give me a starting point each year."Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. Double, double toil and trouble-- Something wicked this way comes "
