The night was an all-around success. This is my 3rd halloween in the house and my second yard haunt. First year was a small section of fencing (just up the driveway), a couple of stones, a fog machine (with a less than adequate cooler) and me dressed up.
This year I added a few more stones (for a total of 13), fencing along the front walk of the house, illumination for most of the stones, a FCG inside the front door, improved fog chiller (4" drain pipe style with 8# of ice) and some last minute flaming cauldrons from Michael's at 1/2 price.
Lighting had been upgraded and is now all low voltage cotrolled by an 88 Watt Malibu Yardscapes trasformer with timer. Motion sensors and activated sound effecs were in the works but never really came to be this year. The same is true for a mosoleum, coffin and bubbling cauldron.
To be done - take pictures and set up my web site.
FCG was a huge hit. Had kids litterally bringing their parents back to see it. It's great to see the cars driving by then suddenly stop just to get a good look. All-in-all a very successful TOT night.
Hope the same is had by all.
Joel
