I was outside today finishing putting out my props when a reporter from a local newspaper came up to me and asked if he could take some pictures and put them in Fridays edition now I am in a rely good mood I wonder what page it will be on

Back in 1990 The Vancouver Province newspaper ran a half page story on our haunt in North Delta, British Columbia on the 30th. It featured a very good photograph of our Vampire lurking behind a Headstone. The Associated Press picked it up and, apparently, it ran in numerous cities across North America. I did a radio interview with a station in Cleveland. We had complete strangers drive in from 40 miles away to see the show. Get ready, DK, expect to see a lot of commuters at your place. And congratulations, buddy, I am sure the feature is well-deserved.

We got on the ABC channel 7 11 pm news in 98. They shot about 10 seconds of one of our skulls talking and used it to go to commercial. We watched it right after we tore down the display and were so excited 1

We live a block from one of our local tv stations. They know about our display so each year send a cameraman to take some footage. A few years ago they did a remote weather broadcast from our yard. It was 68 freakin degrees outside that Halloween and it was GORGEOUS! We had called all the kids in the neighborhood so they all came over in their costumes and got to be on tv. The weatherman interviewed me as I sat in the coffin. He played it up big and it was really a good time. We have the tape and watch it from time to time. It was fun to hear people comment about our house being on television. I think that kind of exposure also paints a good picture of the holiday as we see it, not some satanic crap that some purport it to be.
