Default How's Your Halloween Weather?

Here in Utah is is COLD. It started snowing yesterday and it has not stopped. It's more like a winter wonderland then Halloween. But We are still gonna make the best of it because after all it is Halloween.

I'm just a little strange, just a little.

It is your typical Halloween weather here in Iowa tonite. Cloudy, windy, and temp is about 40 degrees, perfect Halloween weather. Last nite our town had trick or treat and it was 70 degrees! I like the gloomy weather better for Halloween. I don't ever remember having alot of snow on Halloween, maybe flurries, but never an accumlation!!
Happy Halloween!

In Chicago it was cloudy but about 65. Not really what you would call "creepy" weather. Saw some nice decorated houses today while walking my cat to the vet. Some people really went all out.

I miss being a kid.

"Even while I breathed there came to my nostrils the breath of the vapor of heated iron. A suffocating odor pervaded the prison. A deeper glow settled each moment in the eyes that glared at my agonies. A richer tint of crimson diffused itself over the pictured horrors of blood. There could be no doubt of the design of my tormentors. Oh, most unrelenting! Oh, most demoniac of men! 'Death,' I said, 'any death but that of the pit.'"

It was warm, but overcast here today. I was actually wearing shorts while doing my last minute set-up, lol! I nearly died from heat stroke in my costume. We didn't get any rain, so it was great. Not really "creepy", but I added to the ambiance with my T&L machine. I'd rather that any day!

It was unusually hot here in Indiana and with a house full of people all night it was miserable but made for a great night for the fog chiller to work great! We even ran out of candy because more people decided to go out in this great weather. Only problem was sudden rain that probably wrecked my props that aren't made for dampness.

After months and months of drought...a month worth of dry, warm weather and the last week of Santanna winds and over 80 degree temperatures...It absolutely poured rain on Halloween night! Fortunately, it didn't really start until around 10 oclock, so the trick or treaters weren't affected, and the crowds at the haunted house I was working had worn pretty thin by then, but still the very idea! It never rains in Southern California! Of all the nights for it to start!

A bit cold here in England, a bit cloudy, no fog unfortunately, but no rain either. We were outside for a bit of my party, but we were all round a bonfire so we were more hot than cold. Almost perfect weather, but not quite.

It was 68 degrees at 6:.p.m. almost too warm. The breeze helped but blew the fog around a bit too much. Need to make a chiller next year. We had some "HEAVY" masks on which were EXTREMELY hot but made for some good scares and effects. One of my helpers who was Dracula in my coffin had to get up several times as the sweat was bothering his eyes, but we survived. Lots of neat costumes on many of the kids, and none impeded by overcoats!

Well, Shadowjack already reported on our Chicago weather. It was a really nice night, but the breeze messed up the fog effects a bit. Still, it was really nice to have such warm weather on Halloween in the Chicago area.
