    Default Another FCG question – 08-16-2003,08:52 PM


    After searching many many stores for all the parts needed I finally have everything!
    Now I need to know about hooking up the led eyes. Do you have to solder them or can they be wired and taped together? The instructions I have been following at KicktheFog seem to show both ways---please help

    Well soldering would provide the best connection especially since the FCG would be moving and the vibration might cause the connection to come loose.

    They mostly come out at night........Mostly

    I have to agree with Bob. A taped connection is not very secure...also, the LED leads (anode and cathode) are fragile. I'd solder...better safe than sorry.
