Aug. 11th, the film crew spent 7 hours here and probably had their cameras rolling for 6 of those 7 hours!
The show is called "Travel Sick", hosted by Grub Smith.
He has done 75 shows, shown mostly in England, he travels all over the world to exotic and sometimes dangerous places doing adventurous things(or are they really just foolhardy?)
Traveling through my house I scared him SO MANY TIMES! And of course they captured it all on tape!
The "Grand Finale" was recorded by 5 cameras as Grub was trying to eat his breakfast in bed, of course it was the "Bad Dream Bed", and of course nobody had explained to Grub what this meant nor exactly what this was to mean to the scrambled eggs and bacon either!
Grub's reactions to things is what really makes the show so funny.
After I would get him jumping and screaming, he would then calm down and analyze the experience for the camera, using his own funny points of reference and vocabulary, all the while, I'm just a few feet away , bent in two, stifling my normal laughter-response so the camera would't know that I was there, because according to their script, I was supposed to off somewhere fixing Grub's "grub", not the guy terrorizing him at each new turn!
I guess that this show will first be shown in England, maybe around the end of October, then later over here....
It was alot of FUN!

EXCELLENT GYM!!! This is totally cool! Will you get to see the final production before it airs?
Gym, I don't get to watch much TV working nights so PLEASE post the date for the show! I have a VCR and would love to get it on tape.
(Well now I guess we have to put up with a movie star. A regular scare diva. LOL)

Congrats Gym, I don't get comedy central but maybe by the time it airs here they will add it to our lineup. I still have a copy of Extreme Homes to keep me occupied in the meantime

That's SOOooo cool Gym! I get comedy central--One of my daughters was on it earlier this month, on "Crank Yankers". I'm really excited to be able to see your Haunted House--I'm sure you'll let us know when the time gets nearer......that's just so cool!
