    Default Flasher disc?

Anyone know where I can find a flasher disc? I want to build the Punchbowl Babydoll prop I saw on the monster page of links(http://www.ironman.ourfamily.com/page10.html), but I can't find one of these items anywhere. It's supposed to go into a light bulb socket to interrupt the power supply and creat a flashing light. I this instance it'll be used on a water pump so the flow is interrupted. Or does anyone else have a better (read "cheaper") way to get the pump to spurt randomly so it looks like the doll is hurling into the punchbowl? I'd also like to replace the baby doll with something else, maybe an Ozzy Osbourne doll.

Spencers sells a sound effect machine. It's more like a lighting machine. You plug a lamp into it and pop in the CD that comes with it and whenever thunder is heard the light will flash. You could plug your pump into it and record pucking sounds on a 30 sec loop tape from radio shack. Everytime the puke sound would go off the the pump would kick on.

Awesome idea. Thanks. I'll start looking around for that. Their web site seems to be under construction so I'll have to stop by the store.

The flasher button I used for the original 'Barfing Betty' is made by Eagle Electric Mfg. Co. in Long Island, NY. The disc itself is about the size of a quarter, but twice as thick. You can see one here: http://www.eagle-electric.com/catalo...ampholders.pdf Scroll down to the last page. I used the model 1008 listed there. Your best bet is to go to a local lighting store that handles Eagle Electric products. If I remember right, they cost under $2.00 each. They're pretty popular around that 'C' holiday.

Oh yeah, I forgot. The flasher button DOES give you the full projectile vomiting effect.

flasher discs are available at oem supplies 18004456611 in phoenix for $7.95 a piece. That's right 7.95. I used to buy them for pennies but not anymore. Believe me I have looked high and wide for these things and this is it!

    Good Luck
