If you were walking through a haunted trail, without a guide, what would be really heart stopping to you? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Noise. A sudden growling or howl that didn't sound like it came from a person. You'd need something loud. An old graveyard would be cool too.
A question from your O.C.C.O.C.P. Anyone growing pumpkins for food these days?

I have been on vacation this week and my son and I put a pond in the yard. This was more work then I ever thought it would be, but well worth it. If you have an pond in your haunted trail, add a severed head with red dye in the water, feed the pump tube out of the mouth of the head and this will give it a special heart stopping effect.
