What are you buying today with Spirit Halloweens 29% off sale today?!?!?

Thanks for the heads up. Didn't know they did such a sale for Leap Year so it caught me by surprise.

I looked through the site and there's some nice props available too. I'm pretty well set on both large and small items, otherwise I would be taking advantage of the discount. The 29% discount is better than the 20-25% I think they typically offer during the year during sales or by signing up for their Spirit newsletter and getting their member coupon. 'Course there's still shipping involved. But some of the items are "online only" so whether or not you typically have a Spirit store near you, it wouldn't matter on those.

BTW Spirit isn't the only one with a sale going on. I posted more discount/coupon info under the Coupons, Discount and Promotion area of the forum.

I didn't have any money to blow either, but I did anyway!! From Spirit I bought Demonica, (I wanted to get her last year and I always regret not buying things) and I bought Hex and a bunch of Butcher Shop items from BuyCostumes. My wife is gonna kill me!

I grabbed the zombie bait prop. I wanted that one and eaten alive last year but passed. You can't find eaten alive anywhere. I've had my eye on zombie bait- it's been in stock for a while but the cost plus tax/shipping was just too much. I was just gonna wait to see if they had it in the store this year or pass completely and see what's new for 2012. But the 29% off total saved me 15 bucks on the prop and essencially made the shipping free and no tax. That's good enough for me, so I grabbed it. I was not happy about the shipping rates currently. Most larger props were close to 20 bucks just to ship. I believe that's a reflection of the gas spike situation now. Cheaper shipping would have saved more money for sure. This gas price spike is gonna put a huge hurt on shipping for our buys this year. I sure hope the new props I may want later this year are available in the stores, cause shipping is already out of control.
