    That's a good amount. Congratulations on keeping the weight off, Scatterbrains; I know how difficult that is to do, since I have struggled with my weight nearly my entire life. Best of luck in your marathon

    Haha I use Halloween to motivate me! I always start in January and aim for the summer to achieve my goals to tone up, but usually throughout the summer I somehow lose my motivation....Come August, I'm in full swing again! I always think, I want to feel more comfortable with my body in my costumes I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this way though

    Scatterbrains, that's awesome! Good luck with the marathon

    I like to drink beer.

    And wine.

    Sometimes gin & tonic..... or vodka & tonic, too.

    Also like a bourbon & coke once in a while.

    When I have mixed drinks, I use diet tonic or diet coke. That's my diet.

    I have worked out for 20 years and have even had a 6 pack.Very lean close to fitness competitor stats(when I was 30).I have let myself go so to speak and am ashamed that I have.I am working on it this year and hope to get back into the six pack shape soon.I love insanity(the workout lol).Right now I am doing crossfit at home mixed with bootcamp workouts at home.I have lots of dvd's and all the equipment needed to do it at home.I have seen lots of costumes I wanted to wear but wouldn't because of the bulges.I have some cute costumes I want to wear so hopefully I will do it.

    :::Bows in presense of greatness:::

    I wish I had the self discipline to workout at home. Running I can do...the eliptical I can do...I show up for classes I sign-up for, but staying home and doing the push-ups, stretchin and weight liftin and all that get a six-pack stuff is not me.

    I dropped the pounds by learning to run again and hittin the elliptical...4 straight months of 2 hours of cardio a day and eatin healthy crap. Now I'm back to eating stuff I like and run to try and break even. A year ago I started taking a low level boot camp class at the gym and a pilates class at the high school through the adult ed program. Didn't bulk up, but the work on the core and especially the stretching helped improve my running. BTW: I don't find it intimidating at all that I'm the only guy and there are over 20 girls/women in the pilates class.
