That's funny, I just saw a still for this with Harry Potter standing by the iron gate and thought, "My cemetery is going to need a LOT more vegetation this year."

I haven't seen it yet, but it is on my to-do list. I LOVE the idea of making people go through your haunt with nothing but a candle to light their way, it adds 100 points to the creepy factor!
Hello, I want my book. Bonjour, je veux mon livre.

OK... haven't even seen it yet but I've read the book (any day now). Some ideas I hope to incorporate into my haunt:
1) If you have lightning box/machine running, add another light with a silhouette of the "WIB" projected over a strategic part of your haunt! For mine, I'm going to make a Jennet Humfrye tombstone and the shadow will be projected right over (or maybe right in behind) that stone! The WIB only appears whenever your lightning goes off!
2) As above, I'm planning a Jennet Humfrye tombstone and I'm planning to engrave the last verse from the poem that's read during the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-tLrqbznW8
3) I've always had something in my large upper bedroom window and I think this would be a great place to have an actual sighting of the WIB. Not quite sure how yet, but I have a couple different ideas!
4) Set up stereo speakers at each end of your haunt and use a horse and carriage sound effect (the phantom pony and trap from the story) that fades from one end to the other mimicking the feeling that it's actually going by you!
Just some thoughts! Oh yeah... ever since I saw the trailer for this one, I've been wondering how to incorporate it! Enjoy and make use of any of my ideas if you'd like (Not sure if I'll be able to incorporate them this year)!"Look Honey, they have... uhm... 'Dead People' in the backyard!"
"Your body's dying. Pay no attention, it happens to all of us!"

Great ideas, Mr. Grimsley!
I like the tombstone and silhouette idea. And the bedroom window idea, too.
You need to get out and see the movie. It's great!

Great ideas! I hope they release the DVD soon, but I bet they will wait for Halloween time. It's one of those movies you buy, not rent.

Oh me too! I don't think I'll make it to the theatre in time to see it there. :O(

You need a bog boy to sneak up on people.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

I might start this weekend building "the black woman" this weekend. See my youtube vid to see my haunted doll inspired on the movie

that was a great movie. i really like all the ideas here, and the lighting idea will be a perfect touch. i don't know how you would pull it off, or if you have the equipment to pull it off, but it would be cool if you had 3 black sheets hanging. each one closer and then projected off them in fast intervals where it looked like she came up real fast on the tot. don't even know if i'm explaining what i'm thinking right.
