I got the skull and hands at a very old family owned costume store in Louisville, KY called Caufields it was in the middle of summer. They were having a sale and there was a sign marked 35 dollars. I asked them if it was the correct price they said the sign was for another much smaller product and I started to put it back the older owner came over to me and said he looked at where the sign was and that it was misleading and although on sale the skull was 100 dollars that it was last years model and let me have it for 35. Who does business like that anymore? I made the robe out of black vinyl tablecloths from the dollar tree. I am going to buy some glow in the dark pain for it next year.

Thanks, My son Isaac was the Vampire. He is blond headed and blue eyed and hyper so i was lucky to get any of it on him including using black hair spray on his head. LOL! I was so tied up entertaining kids that I didnt take enough pics or any of the cool night pics when I had cool lighting and fog going through my graveyard or the cool displays I had out my old barn. My Graveyard actually had like 30 tombstones in it and a gate I never got a good pic of that or of my monsters on my porch, but I am a single Dad and I had to be the party coordinater I had 2nd graders in from 5 to 730 and 6th graders in from 7 til whenever I was to tired to take more pics LOL!

I love seeing things like this. Your kids are going to have great memories of you doing so much work so they could have a fun party with their friends. Well done.

Thanks, I am very blessed to have had parents who encouraged my interests. Took me to costume shops and comic book stores and glued hair and horns to my head for halloween every year. I am also lucky that my kids are really taking an interest in monsters and haunting and halloween. It has made me go through a second childhood through their eyes. My 12 yeare old is now collecting masks and talking about wanting to learn to make his own. I know some out there think that kids shouldnt be arount scary stuff or monsters. But my Karloff Frankenstein and Lugosi Dracula is there Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees. It is not the make believe monsters, Zombies and vampires that are A danger to our kids it is the lack of attention to our kids to teach them what is make believe and what is real, what is right and wrong.
