Thought I would go ahead and finally share this album with everybody. Could not build any new props this year due to preparations for a promotional exam at work (I will soon be known as "Scary Fire CAPTAIN" so it wasn't in vain) but I was able to set up the old stuff in a little different style last Halloween. Still had a lot of fun. Just got the pictures downloaded last week. It's been a long 7 months.
2012 will be epic. I won't have to worry about studying and I have a whole pile of scrape wood to work with. And a million ideas in my head.
Enjoy the album.
Praise always welcome.![]()

Great pics! I like the "His and Hers" Electric Chairs. LOL I'm glad you'll have more time to work on props this coming year.
Congratulations on the promotion!

Thanks!!!
Last Fall was pretty depressing without being able to build my props and plan my yard haunt, but it was well worth it.
Helped me appreciate and realize how much I love building and getting ready for Halloween.

I really like the hangman's gallow....hangins have gotten expensive these days...due to a down economy I suppose!
Congratulations on the promotion Captain!"By the pricking of my thumb....something wicked this way comes"

I love the hangings for $10 rope not included...thats hilarious. Very original. I would have maybe added a cool white light where your pumpkin was to show the blood splatters better against the white sheet. Or maybe they were really noticeable but the picture doesn't show it too well.
I like your fence too!! did u buy it or make it?
Great scene! Thanks for posting!

I made that fence from 3 foot yard stakes and 6 foot, 1 inch door trim. I'm glad you like it but I really dig those haunters who made fence that looks old. But I'm not "artsy" enough so I just made it to look like traditional cast iron as best I could.
Video does not show it very well but the red light on the bloody sheets worked pretty well. Better in person.
