Thread: Graveyard Theme Ideas

Ok, I think that everyone agrees that we have officially entered the planning season. My theme has always been a graveyard. For the past 6 years I have continued to expand/add to the point of 35ish tombstones (some 7 ft tall), 160+ ft of fence, grave grabbers, coffin foggers, LED lighting, thunder and lightning, etc. I need some help of where I go from here. What can I add to the graveyard theme without starting a new theme? I was thinking of more animation with maybe 4-5 coffins with various actions? Maybe a cauldron creep? Stirring witch? We set up the haunt three different times throughout the Halloween season at various events so mobility is a factor. If you have made or seen something out of the ordinary in a graveyard theme that rocked, please share. I want to expand badly but not with something that looks out of place.

Wow... sounds like you have it all! Maybe the only thing you are missing are accessories. There are some awesome props out there like jumping spiders, rocking bats, striking snakes. Unexpected touches. Scary Trees would fit in your theme perfectly as well! The coffins sounds like a perfect idea. Good luck!
