When I moved into my apartment last August, I was faced with the challenge of figuring out how to create a room inside of my living room for my new window haunt. I had to do this without damaging the walls or the ceilings. The temporary solution was a line of 3M Command Hooks and one very large sheet of black plastic (the bad kind, I know I was a bad bad haunter). I knew I'd have to figure out a better (and safer) solution for this year.
I worked at HalloweenCity this past Halloween and they used gridwall held together with zipties. It actually seemed like a great idea for building my room. The grid would be perfect for the ceiling since I can hang things from different points. I wouldn't need to make all the walls grid. If anything I would limit it to the ceiling using a PVC pipe structure.
Anyone else ever use gridwall?
