So, I've seen "Candy Cane Lane" in Monterey California... The Haunts on Wyndom Avenue in St. Louis Missouri and a variety of 1zies 2zies here and there when I go out looking for halloween and christmas decorations. But today while not thinking about Halloween and Christmas I began to wonder... What would it take to create an entirely cryptic, Haunted neighborhood. Wyndom did a great job but I want to take it up a notch. I want groundbreakers in the middle of the road, toxic waste in yards, Tiki torches lining the driveways of houses and monsters of all kinds taking over the neighborhood... (Think a bad episode of Buffy meets Rod Sterling and has a love child with Frankenstiens monster) I don't live in a covenent controlled community so I can't bring it up during the next homeowners association meeting but... Maybe, Just Maybe... Nah.
These are the things I think. If there were people in my area that I could recruit I could easily see making Holiday decorating a business. I know there are already hundreds of companies like it but...

Why are you afraid of zombies anyway? They only eat brains, so you're safe

Well here in cali for the neighborhoods who ALL decorate for Christmas sometimes have it in their contract. Like to live there you have to decorate for Christmas. It appeals to a lot of people, and some it doesn't. But Unless you could get your whole neighborhood fired up for Halloween (Harder than you might think I've tried lol) You'd have one hell of a time getting that neighborhood haunt of yours. But if you ever do let me know, cause that would be awesome!

I love how fantastic us haunters' brains go. I always think of things that are so grand they're just not feasible. Or if they are they are waaaay out of price range or would take up countless hours. But still that's how we are, and that's what makes this hobby/passion/OBSESSION so great!
