I loved the "The calendar I'm advocating isn't nearly as accurate, but it's far more convenient." comment.... Really?!?!?! Lazy bastage. It's always about what's EEEEASY.

I don't see this happening.. You'd have to get global acceptance. I'd like to hear his comment to that. How "convenient" would it be to try setting up a meeting in Japan? You say May 17th, and they will be 2 days off still using a 28 day February. I just don't see the world collectively buying into this.

I can't live in a world that takes away October 31st and keeps Halloween on a Monday forever. I don't give one fig as to what day of the week Christmas falls on, so forcing an entire year onto humanity based on positioning December 25th on a Sunday is ridiculous. I also don't see the logic for how this will save "billions of dollars". Are they estimating the cost savings of printing calendars every year? Also, as a hard working employee who often times feels like nothing more than a number and hates being referred to as a "resource", I don't want to do a damned thing to make life easier for the soul-less bean counters of corporate America.

I'm sure things will stay just as they are. It would be too much trouble worldwide to change the calendar like that.
Sounds like someone just trying to "stir the pot" to entice arguments.

While we are at it, let's just turn the clock forward a half hour this Spring and call this Daylight Savings B.S. DONE !!
