I think zombies will continue to be pretty popular. What do you think?

Zombies for sure. We need to know also what horror movies will come out in 2012 too. With so many new random cool props in 2011, I can't wait to see what thery make in 2012! I am hoping for a cool werewolf theme.

I'm in for zombies as well. The Walking Dead series on AMC is still very popular. There was a flood of zombie related props and costumes this year and I'm thinking this will carry over for at least another year.
Americans sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Zombies/ Mutants are always a safe bet. I'm thinking the old standby of "pirates" will probably make an appearance in a yard or two. But if you ask me I think genetic mutation should be number 1. I'm working on a toxic waste/biohazard spill that results in mutation and Zombification. Of course I also want to do the classic graveyard scene too so it will be interesting in how it all comes together.

I am hoping for a revival of "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!" Tomatoes taking over cities and towns. Oh the humanity!
"When there's no more room in Hell, the dead will walk the earth!"

I'm thinking it will be zombies too.
I would love to do a Witch theme, I always feel they are so under represented at Halloween. It's always the witch that crashed into the tree, door or ground on her broomstick that I see everywhere. I really feel bad for them. After all it is their holiday. They can't all be that bad at flying around,Boo!

Yup, Definitely zombies....They would be wise to keep the green sludge off the Zombie Prop itself though so it is still useful in a cemetery theme....I know industrial is huge now but I'll always be a classic haunter first and foremost....ZR

I'm hoping that animated props progress even further in 2012. They really made some improvements this year- maybe next year will be even more amazing. I think tekky has a winner with their lurching mechanism that made the jumping spider so popular this year. More than cool movement, it makes for a true startle scare. That can be incorporated into many cool popups. I'd like to see another great popup barrel prop and a big one that needs to come out- a tombstone jumper. These props are nothing new in the pro lines, but at the consumer level they can now be done well too, I believe. Far as themes, I think zombies will still rule. More than a theme, I'd like to see all new props tweaked to include features we all would love- sound triggered in ALL props, timer trigger settings, and audio on/off setting. A few of the new zombie props were great this year but were only motion activated. That's a lot of money for a prop that's hard to trigger in a dark display. Make the props WORK well for us next year too please.

I totally agree with zombies! I think there will a political twist as well for a lot of people.
A person who is afraid to make mistakes won't make anything.
