It's 33 degrees and the wind is howling so I thought about things to do for fun so I look up indoor mini golf in PA and they have Monster mini golf in Monroeville....I've heard of it from one of the Halloween shows but thought it was in NY....Apparently it's turned into a franchise and the closest one from me is about an hour and a half away in Columbia, Md....Has anyone experienced one of these?....It seems perfect to me, cool Halloween animatronics, 3D glow in the dark paint, and mini golf all tied into one....I'm thinking this just might be something to go do.....Here's a link to see if you have one close to you....ZR

I haven't tried it, but Colombia, MD is only 20 minutes away from me, so maybe I'll check it out.

The closest one to me is Marietta, GA, which is 5 hrs away. Blacklight mini golf is cool.

None around here, unfortunately, but I'm sure that it would be fun. If possible, please get some pics if anyone goes

If you go, post on here to let us know what the experience was like....I remember where I saw it now, it was on Monster Makers this fall...Distortions made a scary animated tree to put into one of these establishments...It looks like they use alot of top notch companies like Distortions, Scare Factory, etc...for their props.....I love playing mini golf and we go alot in the summer so I bought the score card app on their site for .99.....The wife said it sounds like fun so we just might make the trip soon.....ZR

We have a few here in Ottawa, we did one last year, a underwater/Pirate/scary theme, very cool!

That sounds neat. There was a blacklight golf course/haunted house not that far from here, but I can't seem to find it online, even after digging up the address in a haunt book. I'll have to take a drive to see if it's still around, apparently... If one of the first things that I do in the upcoming year is Halloween-related, that'll start 2012 off right

I found a cool youtube video someone took of the inside of one of these establishments today......
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OH1vQ...eature=related
I read a little history on the company and found out they had a big trademark lawsuit by Monster Cable that went on for 2 years!.....The fees Monster Cable wanted just to use the word Monster was insane!.....I'm really glad they lost in the end....Who really owns the word "monster" anyway???....I have the one in Columbia, Md programmed in the GPS so I'm a little closer to going!.....Now gotta get outside and build something....Way too nice to stay in here.......ZR
