Hi everyone! I need your help Thinking about adding a camera somehow inside this years haunt to snap a photo of everyone as they go by one of our rooms sort of like the ones that they have on rides at theme parks where you go purchase your picture when the ride is over
Does anyone have any idea of how I can add this to this years haunt?

There are companys that do this, sell you the equiptment. Maybe someone else would have a name, number for you?
If someone attended Transworld and kept one of the exhibitor books listing every business that was there maybe this could be a source to check?

Are you looking at selling the pics or giving them away?

Is this a home haunt or a professional haunt? I went to a pro haunt this year that took two staged pictures as part of waiting in the Q line. They had alittle decorated scene with a scaractor set up there and had you do a friendly pose and a scared pose. At the end of the haunt, you could enter a code and see your pics and decide whether or not to buy them. I think this is better than taking pics in the haunt as you're able to see everyone's face if they pose as a group and your more likely to sell them.

My $.02 is not to sell pics if you're doing a home haunt. If you want to do it for free, that's great. My personal opinion is that money shouldn't change hands at home haunts.

I'm pretty sure this has come up a few times over the past few years and one of the concerns over this is who is to say that the photos aren't being stored. Parents probably won't be too comfortable with their kids photos being taken by someone they don't know.

I think this would make a great addition to any halloween event. Not sure how to go about it, but I'd be interested to see if it works out for you

I have no idea whether this product fits your haunt theme or not, but I plan on incorporating this inexpensive mug shot prop somewhere in my yard so ToTs may take pictures of themselves in it if they wish. Posing with my props, especially butlers (?!), has become a neighborhood tradition and most ToT groups contain at least one member with a camera phone or other lightweight camera. I hadn't even thought about buying a disposable instant camera or somesuch to help out those who don't have have a device with them, but now that the subject has come up I may do just that.

We did it last year for my kids haunt. My husband used his game camera. For those not familiar, it has an infrared flash so it takes pictures in the dark and is motion activated. It was set up across from our jumping spider and the shots we got were priceless! You can get a game camera anywhere, but the really good ones are expensive. My husband is an avid hunter so he's got a couple of them. Go to Bass Pro shops, Cabelas, Wal Mart, etc.
