i am usally againest it..but Home depot had a sale on the air compressors, so i got one, actually i got there 10 mins, after they opened and lucky enough to get the last one, i bought lots of the mini led lights, i really wanted the white, some old lady jumped in front of me while i was bent down. and got them from me,, i was raised descent so i just said excuse me, she ran off (with them in her buggy) anyway, i also got a lotta tea lights... and at the dollar store, got the stuff to do Allen H, new youtube Wednesday cage mask and at HD i got the stuff to make the clacker gloves.

I stay at home recovering from Thur. We also don't support the greed of the stores during the holidays. Since I don't like large crowds and pushy people it's making it easier to do every year. If I'm going to buy something I'll do it online. Recently I heard something from the co-founder of Home Depot that makes me stay away from there anyways so they are off my "nice" list of stores. If a store wants to do good business, they should stay out of politics.

didn't know they did politics.. yea i am (was) againest greed type thing, but as a collage student to save 50 dollars, i could cut some morals, plus being away from most of the people in family is a holiday, my Girl went and was a great time.. and the last plus, i am in the middle of shedding pounds som staying away from leftovers is best..( i am good with my bs reasoning. lol but i understand everything you are saying

LOL, I can sooo relate to your "i am good with my bs reasoning". When Walmart had their stirring witch on sale, I had to swallow my pride and run and get one. I'm on disability retirement so don't make much either so I'm always looking for a great sale and will do things I normally wouldn't do. I just can't get up that early anymore. I use to get up at 3:30 every day for work and just don't like mornings. Guess I'm just too old and cranky for Black Thur./Fri. sales.

I just say NO, Black Friday Shopping is, well, kinda dumb IMHO. Pushy, crazy people, big crowds stepping on your feet. NO Thanx! And well actually, I'm at work today.... double

Haha it's all good, though..... Everyone thinks that I am that family member with the compressor to borrow or fill their air tanks up with now. It's almost like my dad, he is the tool man

I would rather by dreaming of my happy place.. lol Ya know, I get the big sales on Friday and why people want to go shopping but it really irks me that stores are starting their "Black FRIDAY" sales on THURSDAY night!! I may sound like a cranky old woman but where are family values going? People will wait until Friday to spend their money if stores aren't open on Thursday! Sorry, I'll get off of my soap box now... for now.. lol
    It's my strange addiction..

Dropped my wife off at the mall where she works at 6:00 this morning and went to the lake for a run. Cool, clear, beautiful morning and hardly anyone there. That's the way to spend Black Friday!
