Well, I've stretched it out as long as I could keeping a bunch of autumn decor up through Thanksgiving, but this week, all bets are off and it's Christmas decorations all the way!

I don't love Christmas like I love Halloween but I do decorate for it and I have a great time.

But it's kind of sad to be putting away the last of the fall stuff. Ah well. Until next year!

Gotta go with the seasons...I finished off the turkey dinner this afternoon and headed up on the roof to get some of the Christmas lights up. I love the Christmas decorating to.....but hate the gift giving and receiving.

Ours will come down on Sunday and we'll start with some indoor Christmas decor. Having our living room painted so won't be able to put the tree up and decorate the mantle until after the 11th but that works. I'm ready for a change of seasons. It was a fun and busy fall and a great Halloween, but now winter is knocking and it's time for Christmas!

Yup. I feel it kind of makes the seasons mean more, that they don't last forever. (Ugh, grammar, sorry, haven't had my coffee yet!) I do enjoy Christmas (like Scatterbrains, sans the gifts...don't enjoy that part as much). And my kids certainly love it so there will be much rejoicing in my house when the tree goes up, I'm sure!

Onward with the year, holy carp, people, it's almost 2012!!!!

I don't have any Christmas songs sequenced for the lightorama.,, I usually put up over 10,000 lights but am having a hard time getting motivated right now with the way the wind is blowin.
