How does a make and take work? I know you make stuff with the group and then take it home. But how does it work? (if you understand what I'm saying)

Don't really understand your question but usually the members pay a small fee to cover the cost of materials and one of the members instructs the rest of the group in how to make a particular item. Then the group can take home the item that they made during the "make and take".

There are other holidays besides Halloween? When did they start that?

We've done a couple of "Make-n-Takes" in the past with the N.C. Haunters.
Basically, the group first has to decide what project is going to be made, usually a prop someone in the group has already built before. Also that same person can act as the resident expert on the building process. A convenient meeting place and a date for the make-n-take needs to be decided, also. Then a list of materials that is needed to make the prop is listed so that everyone involved will have all they need to make it.
Everyone involved usually offers to bring some sort of snack or beer or whatever to munch on when taking a break.
That's pretty much it.

I Dunno? "Make & Take" sounds pretty close to "Mac Attack", which mean the group would meet under the golden arches?
Sounds like a fun time, never been and probably won't ever be........"My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"
