This will be a useful idea to promote and list your individual haunts. I see tons of great comments and pictures about people's haunts, but wouldn't it be cool to tell us exactly where you are so some of us can drop by and say hello next year? So much information passes through this forum that it's impossible to sift things out without spending a lot of time. Of course, geography is a factor, but there still might be a surprising amount of us on the forum who don't realize how close we are to each other. Anyway, if anyone wants to participate, feel free to give some information about your whereabouts and when you're usually up and running, updates next year. If it's only Halloween, that's fine, but you never know who might drop by. There are so many great haunts mentioned here, it's a shame not to organize them somehow. If you have a webpage or Facebook page that would be cool to post here, and I think worth bookmarking and sharing. If there are people in SE Pennsylvania I would love to hear about it. And if you wish to remain anonymous and don't want publicity, it's completely understandable. I don't have a haunt yet but plan on starting one for next year. Here's just my own FB contact for starters, and I hope to branch this off for an actual Home Haunt.

Sounds like a great idea Paul! Pennsylvania's a bit of a drive for me, with my haunt in Ontario, Canada! My haunt is just a small yard display (no walk through) but I enjoy it. Looking forward to seeing some of your pics once you get your haunt started. After reading some of your work (well done BTW!) I'm curious to see what your imagination can create!

You can also sign up on the Home Haunters Association site. Under "Registered Haunts" you can list the address of your haunt and give a brief description of it.

I'm not on Facebook, myself.

Ontario sounds like it would be an awesome road trip. Ours will be pretty small too, so I'm with you on that. Planning a fall visit to Lake Champlain next year, so who knows. I appreciate the comments too!
Dave, thanks for posting that link.

There is also the Canadian Haunters Association's website where you can join for free and post a listing of your haunt organized by Province. There are listings for Home Haunts, Commercial & Charity Haunts, Canadian Halloween related Businesses & a section for Personal (ie. scare actors) along with a Calendar of Events and other features. Check it out. It's just getting started but in time will be THE place for all things Halloween in Canada.

Our haunt is called Nightmare on 3rd Street. We are a fund raiser for our DARE and GREAT programs taught by police officers in the grad and middle schools in our city. Check our our website: nightmareon3rdstreet.com it lists our address.
Sorry that I dont have pics on there. its a small site so I seem to have issues with pictures going over our limit..... I cant justify a bigger site when its a fund raiser for a nonprofit org..... Anyway, we've grown over the past 3 years and this year we had 1911 visitors in 4 days. I would like to expand and be open more days but its really hard to get volunteers and I am afraid of burning people out. I believe that we are among the best haunts in our state! Sadly, Iowa doesnt seem to have the large haunts that many states have!!! Our haunt takes about 15 - 20 minutes to get through.... The things that I have made with all the generous help here goes into our haunt and I can say that it just wouldnt be the same without this forum!!!

Yes, it's just beginning, but a quality site none the less. Of course, it's members are fantastic, if I do say so myself!

It's nice to have a site for all things Canadian. I've noticed a large contingent of Canadian members on this forum. Perhaps one day we may band together ...... and form Voltron! But I digress, if by digress I mean "need more coffee to get my carcass moving and off to work"!
And yes Paul, Ontario is indeed an awesome road trip, especially in the fall. If you ever have a chance to see Algonquin Park in all it's fall splendor I'd highly recommend it! Simply awe inspiring!
