Neat and all but I really think the cute stuff ruins the spirit of Halloween for me..all of the blow up Gemmy stuff is the worst offenders..but this is a cool trick.

Different tricks for different folks. That one that was going around the internet and getting all the hits this year was ok, but I'd hate to be his neighbor with those strobes and all.

I actually prefer this type of setup if someone is going to all the timing work and triggering anyway seen in the following video. This is just a small part of it as I think he has quite a few props trigger at the end as all "hell" breaks loose around the yard.

    Found a better video!

I know these guys live and work in Hollywood, so they have some special effects friends as well and a professional voice actor for Jack (reminds me of the voice from the old animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas...).

I'm just wondering how hard triggering different lights and props would be compared to having to program lightorama routines. Again, not trying to take away from your work either! Just got me thinking about this one again.

What I think makes this work so good is beyond the props and set design, there is an overall theme to the display and a flow in the usage of the props. Its not like a random haphazard arrangement of halloween props just laid out in a yard. Something to think about when designing my display. Excellent work really enjoyed it!

The programming is amazingly simple...just incredibly time consuming. I really procrastinated on this this year because I thought it was going to be difficult to use the software, then one of the Rocky Mountain Haunter's showed me how to use the software in June and I went home and tried it and thought it was pretty simple...but since it was so simple I didn't jump into sequencing right away and that bit me in the butt later, so I only finished three songs of the six I was shooting for.
