Yes, as always I am bummed to see the Halloween stuff all disappearing, and I have hit the stores and grabbed a bit of discounted Halloween stuff to squeeze that last bit of energy out of the holiday. Now comes Thanksgiving, another Fall celebration, and not exactly spooky but for Thanksgiving they always used to run a whole day of The Twilight Zone or various types of old monster movies locally here in Los Angeles...this is still done on cable to a degree but I don't have TV so I just watch discs and tapes. I have some Twilight Zones and will be watching those...

As far as I am concerned, the Thanksgiving celebrations and feasting, with the cozy old spooky videos, are the easy glide down from Halloween, so it doesn't feel so bad. Any of you guys feel the same way about it?

I like November in general. It serves as a very nice transition into December and *that* other jolly holiday.

I like to use November as my period of easing off Halloween and getting back to normal activities WHILE still having nice cool weather, fall imagery, and time to do things i wasn't in October like finish watching all my horror movies and read my horror and Halloween books.

The only thing I really can't stand is are the really really short days, especially in the latter part of the month... it's very depressing.

I love The Twilight Zone marathons at the holidays. In fact I just posted about an hour before you did that I'm thinking of a TZ theme haunt. So I'll be sure to see what they will be showing in our area to get ideas. I know SYFY use to run TZ marathons around New Year's I thought.

We spent all day New Year's day watching the Twilight Zone marathon, probably on SyFy, not sure. Then a month later, we got Netflix Instant View and ALL the TZ episodes are available to watch anytime we want! It's great but the holidays will never be the same.

I love Thanksgiving as well, but we watch football on TV that day.

On Friday, I'm at home (my wife may go shopping, but I'm on the couch) so I may watch a classic monster movie or two if I get a chance.

I'm thankful for the whole month of November. I'd die if I had to immediately start decorating for Christmas a few days after Halloween.
Heck, I'm still putting away Halloween decorations and yard decor.

Maybe that's why they call it Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for the whole month.

For us November is a whole month to decorate for Xmas. We are behind this year taking down halloween stuff but we needed a longer recovery time to bounce back from halloween night! lol Also we so look forward to that wonderful Thanksgiving meal of turkey w/ all the fixin's & special baked goods! Yum I smell the aroma already! For me I try to have all the xmas stuff done by Thanksgiving so Dec. I can enjoy my house & sit by a big cozy fire. I like to bake cookies & other goodies & just relax.

My blow molds are still outside, I still have things on the mantlepiece & a few other tables, if it weren't for November I'd never be ready for Christmas either!!

Usually when I'm putting away the stuff I think "I should just put up Christmas now. I'm already in the attic, I'm already dirty, why not?" Then I come to my senses & realize I couldn't stand to look at Christmas stuff for 2 months!!
