Sunday we made two trips with the trailer to take our 15 totes full of decorations and alot of our air props have been put to bed for another year. My mom & dad came over and helped coil up the miles of extension cords and air lines on Saturday. The only thing left standing is the temporary warehouse we have set up in the backyard that housed everything, that will be coming down this afternoon. I did see the tote that my Christmas village is in while packing away Halloween on Sunday so brought that home, I start putting it together right after Thanksgiving and it usually it takes about a week to put up and I hope to add a bit more to it this year. This is a nice time of year here in Vermont and I'm grateful for all this nice weather we are having, perfect to get the house ready for winter. Thanksgiving, Christmas too are wonderful here. Time to get together with the family and be thankful for everything we have.

"Thanksgiving"? What's "Thanksgiving"? It's been Christmas since late August! Got Halloween pretty much put away but all the Funkins and Gemmy pumpkins that didn't get carved are now fall decór!

I'm actually surprised they pushed Christmas back even more this year, since financial reports last year showed that putting Christmas out too early actually hurts sales and discourages shoppers from buying by the time Black Friday and December roll around, as they're completely sick of seeing it by then.

Yep, same here, it's been Christmas around here since way before Halloween in certain stores.

One of my co-workers said "Oh you know this station is going to start playing Christmas music Nov. 18th!!" She was very excited & we said "Oh no....no Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. The boss said so!!"
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

I enjoy Nov and thanksgiving. Get to see my family and start back trail riding. All the halloween is put away (except for the goodies I keep finding in stores on clearence) I will decorate just a little for christmas nothing like Halloween.
