    Hi everyone...

I am looking for a tabletop haunted house. Made of metal, wood, ceramic or whatever. I have done a google search and just can't seem to find what i'm looking for. I want it to be pretty big and with some decent detail and either lighted or a way for me to put a strand of lights in it.

A friend of mine had one that was made of ceramic that her mother had made taking a ceramic class at the community college, but I dont think they do it anymore.

Or if anyone has any ideas of how I could make one ....
I have thought about using an unfinished wooden doll house or bird house and decorate it... but they can get pretty exspensive even unfinished.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know....thanks so much!!!

There are two companies that make Halloween mini houses....Department 56 and Lemax. They are primarily made of ceramic; sometimes have lights already on them or in them, and some animations.
    Department56.com and
    lemaxcollection.com
will show you all the houses and accessories they have to purchase. For Lemax you're looking for a collection called Spooky Town, for Dept. 56 you're looking for the collection they call Snow Village Halloween.
I personally am completely addicted to Halloween villaging and it's a big part of my Halloween decorations.
If you wanted to decorate your own wood house -
    miniatures.com
is a good site to check out.
    Hope this helps.

Look for plans to make a doll house. Instead of using wood, use heavy cardboard or foam core board. If you go this route, i suggest using LEDs since they don't produce a lot of heat.
