Do you have live characters along with your props in your home haunt. I actually dont due to the wires etc. but I make my friend up every year to lead his schools parade ( he's a teacher ) and he comes back to help hand out candy with my family. This year I made him as the wolfman.
he doesnt jump out or anything but he does get the kids in the mood. I have a shot of him in the makeup I did on him this year and one of him when I made him up as frankenstein a few years ago.

My hubby is always helps out and is in costume, as is my youngest son and a friend. I hand out the candy in costume. This year it was a zombie theme.

Your makeup jobs are super. I'm gonna try live actors the 2012 season. Talked to some kids on halloween night about getting me in touch with the drama teacher at the local high school, gonna see if we can plan something for next season. Would also love, just love to have a dance team do the thriller dance like they do at Davis Graveyard!

Those makeup jobs are def. pro lvl. Love them! I try some years and hubby does every year. This year he was the caretaker of the cemetary. I was the one setting up everything this year so just didn't have time and I really couldn't think of something I could do at the last min. That is one of ther reasons I felt this year just wasn't doing it for me.

I actually could use some one to keep the kids off the props. im always afraid with the wires and fog and most of my stuff is just foamboard.
