This year including me, we had 4 active "live props" lol and 2 family members handing out candy. I LOVE having live actors in my haunt it adds a level of realism and people love it!

One of the reasons that I'm outside is to keep people off the props. This year it was pretty bad even with the no touching sign. If something was activating one of the guys would just smack my Hex guy on the head. Then after the trash can trauma broke it's cylinder they thought they had a right to just walk up to it and show it to everyone. Really ticked me off. I had the fence around the cemetary but, there were a few couple foot gaps that had something in between but, they always seemed to find a way through. I had a couple people suggest getting a couple high school students to help scare the children but, to me that would be just another problem to deal with since I would always feel I had to watch out for them too in case something happened.

I had a child rip the arm right off a prop and the mother just laughed and kept walking. A sorry would have been nice. next year I have to fence off the displays
