Ahoy fellow haunters!

A shot across the bow from behind the Orange Curtain (Costa Mesa, CA). The weather this Halloween was crisp & clear but the turnout was shockingly low. I guess the churches & schools are winning. Of course, that'll never stop us from building! Here are some pictures from my annual haunt. Most of what I make I've gleaned from the wonderful tutorials on this site. So invaluable it is! This was my first year utilizing the "glowing coals" effect (which was a hit). Unfortunately I suck at night photography so it's not well represented. Otherwise, I hope you like it...

Not sure how the churches & schools can win over visiting your place! Great display & a lot of detail. I loved your pictures & picked up some decorating hints from them. Nice work guy!

Thanks everyone! I work in the boating industry so I've spent years collecting old rope, netting & other nautical-related stuff. I wish I knew how to take good nighttime pics like so many of you. That's when the visuals are at their best.
