As I opened the door to go to my car this morning for work, I was met with an empty yard. I knew my husband was putting everything away yesterday afternoon and evening, but it was kind of a shock to see it gone. All that's left is the spiderwebs that were spun with the Webcaster, my wreath on the front door and the urns at the front door. No tombstones, no candles, no ravens, no bones, no columns, no gate, no fence. And it makes me kind of sad.

Kind of feel the same way. Finished packing the last of it away today. The yard looks empty but I cut the grass and raked all the leaves which I had left lay for the past three weeks. Had to pick out several pieces of candy from the leaf pile! Things are back to normal and the house seem much bigger now.

I got the cemetery down on 1/1 and had it packed awaycorrectly in the shed by 1/2, but the garage, my glassblowing workshop and the family room still look like Halloween barfed all over them. I need to get it all cleared out and packed away by Monday or the wife is going to kill me, but even she thinks the yard looks empty without the gravestones and scarecrows.

It is a little depressing to pack everything up, and get it into the attic....but i leave these characters out all year round in the garage.

Yeah I'm the grinch that stole her Halloween, but we're already planning for next year. We talked about new fence panels to go with our gate and columns, and an arch for the top. She has already found Finials online for the tops of the posts. My father in law decided i need to make a bunch of shorter columns to put the fence panels in between. Halloween is NEVER over hahahaha.

My yard is cleared out but I do not have everything packed up in the garage. I had a Oct 30th party and borrowed some chairs and tables from my neighbor, they are still in my garage keeping me from getting my Halloween stuff put away. Hopefully they will be out of the garage by Sunday morning and I will be able to organize the things in the garage.
